What is Grade 43 Cement? 

Technically known as OPC 43 (Ordinary Portland Cement), this is a "general purpose" cement. The number "43" indicates that after 28 days of curing, the cement attains a crushing strength of 43 MPa (Mega Pascals). 

Primary Uses: Plastering & Flooring: It provides a smooth finish and is less prone to the hairline cracks that the stronger "Grade 53" cement often causes due to high heat. 

Brick/Block Masonry: Excellent for joining bricks and blocks. Non-Structural Concrete: Pathways, compound walls, and smaller residential slabs where high-speed construction is not a priority.
