PPC (Portland Pozzolana Cement)

What it is: OPC mixed with Fly Ash (usually from thermal power plants).

Primary Use: The #1 choice for residential house construction (independent homes) across Karnataka. It is preferred for plastering, brick masonry, and tiling because it gives a smoother finish and has fewer cracks than OPC.

Regional Note: Highly recommended in coastal belts (Mangalore, Udupi, Karwar ) because it resists corrosion from salty sea air better than OPC
